The Track
Medford Dragstrip is an NHRA-sanctioned quarter-mile drag strip in the Jackson County Sports Park, just north of the Medford city limits. The raceway has been in operation since 1979.
The track is operated by Medford Dragstrip, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation governed by a volunteer board of directors. Our mission is to promote safe motorsports activities for community benefit — educating racers of all ages on the benefits of sanctioned drag racing, working with non-profit partners to fund raise, and investing in track and facility improvements to keep this public-owned facility open for generations to come.
The Jackson County Sports Park is a county-owned complex that also includes a 10-field softball complex, a go-kart track, an RC racing track, a one-third mile dirt oval, public shooting and archery ranges, and fishing ponds. Each facility is operated by a different organization. Follow signs for the dragstrip once inside the park.
